Hotwire Installation - UPDATE

This project has four components to be completed by Hotwire:

1.      Install 11 cameras at the front entrance and Amenity Center – Complete

2.      Transition the resident gate transponder system from RAMCO to Hotwire – Complete. Anyone still having issues getting into the front resident gate must contact Tropical Isles

3.      Install a new callbox for visitor entry and program homeowner’s name and phone

numbers – New call box is installed and Hotwire is entering homeowners’ information

4.      Install electronic key card read readers at five locations at Amenity Center (main entry

gate, side entry gate, Fitness Room, women’s and men’s restrooms. Provide two (2)

key cards per household – Key card readers are installed but not active until key

cards are programmed and distributed to homeowners

Hotwire is waiting for the 800 encrypted key cards that have a huge demand and on backorder.

The current RFID cards/transponder stickers we have for access to the front resident gate will remain in effect with the new equipment. 

When the installation is complete, two [2] key cards will be distributed to each homeowner. These key cards will allow access to the Amenity Center for the two entry gates, fitness room, and both restrooms. Access to the amenities will not be interrupted until all homeowners have received their key cards.
